Edgware to play in Portugal in September 2027

Edgware Cricket Club have announced that they will be touring Portugal for the first time in September 2027. The news is part of a series of announcements expected throughout 2026 related to Edgware's Future Tour Programme, which sets out Edgware's touring schedule between 2026 and 2029.

The Portugal Tour will be centred in Porto, where Edgware will be hosted by Oporto Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club for two matches on September 18th and 19th. Oporto Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1855 and now caters for various sports, as well as accommodation options for touring sides.

"It's exciting news for the club as we look to build relationships with clubs throughout Europe and globally. Importantly, it extends our fixture list and gives our players a wonderful opportunity to experience new countries and cultures. We can't wait to set foot in Portugal in September '27" spoke Club Chairman Ciaran Hosty.
