It's not often that a Club AGM, where the nitty gritty details of the previous year and the aims for the upcoming season bring about such a strong attendance. However, on the back of a league winning season, the club saw a record fourteen players turn up to Kabul City Restaurant in Edgware.

The key points to come out of the agenda for those who were unable to attend were as follows:
i) 2019 tour
The club approved a March 2019 tour to Malaga, Spain. Edgware would travel for three days, leaving on a Friday evening and returning on a Monday afternoon. During the stay they would play two friendlies against local sides and have access to various nets at Cartama Oval. Pricing includes accommodation, food, match fees, lunches, umpires, scorers and transfers between the airport and the ground for ~£280pp. Flights would not be included and would be left to travelling members to pay for.
ii) Edgware Eagles
The club launches it's T20 side next season. The 'Eagles' as they will be affectionately known, will comprise of 7-8 first XI players and 3-4 Under 18's coming up through the Canons Cricket Academy as managed by Head of Youth Cricket, Nakul Jilka. The games will be played on Friday's at 6pm with coloured kits, pink balls and when at home, music and food. Fixtures will be confirmed in the new year.
iii) Canons High School Nets Refurbishment
The club are looking at pricing options for a net refurbishment at Canons High School. The nets which have become almost unusable, 10 years after their initial installation will be renovated through fundraising and/or grants from local and national sporting bodies. It is envisioned that a net refurbishment could bring significant future income to the club if allowed to manage and hire out the nets.
iv) Vice-Captain
It was announced that Nakul Jilka will takeover as Vice-Captain on a temporary basis whilst Sajith Sriwickramasekaran works in China. The role takeover was unanimously agreed by those in attendance and Nakul's first game as vice-captain will likely be on the 2019 tour to Spain.
v) Edgware CC sponsorships
Although not finalised, the club announced that Kabul City Restaurant in partnership with JustEat would likely become the club's main sponsor for the 2019 season. Fleet MiniCabs were approached to renew their sponsorship, but unfortunately have ruled themselves out at this point. Edgware CC will seek alternative sponsorships for the 2019 season and anyone with potential ideas should get in touch.
vi) Edgware CC logo
There have been discussions to renew the Edgware CC logo. Whilst only a quarter of those who voted, selected 'Yes' for a logo refresh, the club will explore opportunities and costs associated over the next couple of months and any options will be taken to the players for voting.
