Edgware celebrate awards night

Edgware CC hosted their Annual General Meeting on Saturday to discuss the future of the club, as well as hand out the awards for the past season.
The outcomes of the AGM were as follows;
- Edgware CC to apply for 'league status' and participate in the Chess Valley League
- Edgware CC to explore to possibility of a end of season tour
- Edgware CC to continue to attract sponsorship ahead of the 2018 season
- Edgware CC to identify new pricing for the player subscriptions
- Edgware CC to explore Kingsbury indoor nets as a potential winter net solution
- Edgware CC to set up a pre-season inter-squad fixture at Canons High School
- Mill Hill Village will continue to be the home of Edgware cricket
The club also gave out awards for performances in the previous season, the pick of the awards were;
- Batsman of the year: Ciaran Hosty
- Bowler of the year: Sajith Sekaran
- Best Newcomer: Kabeer Soni
- Kim Jong Un Award: Shuraj Vekaria
- Fielder of the Year: Shuraj Vekaria
- Most Improved Player: Aakash Shukal
- Playa Award: Vidanda Galgamuwa
